Younger by 3 years, Steve & Randy were always butting heads growing up. But when they both got around their teenage years that all changed. Although they’re very different they share a ton of similarities. One day when Randy wins the World Series of Poker he can look back and remember learning how to play in their basement with Steve and his friends. Or when the Mets win the World Series (probably around 2014) they’ll both remember going to games together. Randy is a great brother and Steve is honored to have him as a Best Man at his wedding.
Steve & Mark’s friendship goes back to their senior year of high school and a mutual enjoyment of being late to school. They had similar schedules that year and spent every other 3rd period at McDonalds where Steve would get an Egg McMuffin and Mark would get a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit. Although Mark moved to Florida after senior year, they stayed great friends up through today. They speak daily whether it’s about traffic, TV or (most commonly) sports. Steve was Mark’s best man when he married his amazing wife Colleen and he can’t be happier that Mark will make the trip from Florida and stand beside him at his wedding.
Steve & Kevin met in 3rd grade at Deer Park Pool Camp. Although Steve moved out of Deer Park in 6th grade, they still stayed close. After high school Steve & Kevin were freshman roommates at Penn State and eventually brothers in the Zeta Psi Fraternity. They’ve shared dozens of drives to and from NY and Penn State as well as a shared taste in music. Kevin is a dear friend, doctor, Lieutenant in the US Navy and a great speaker and devoted Jew; this makes him the perfect candidate to marry Steve & Marina.
Steve & Colin met during Steve’s internship at Hot 103– Central PA’s #1 Hit Music Station. Colin and Steve were local celebrities under the nicknames “Big Woody & Wingman Steve.” They brought hijinks and mayhem to the town of State College. Their friendship grew over the ridiculous tasks they performed on-air and continues long after college life.
Steve and Ryan are friends from high school but their friendship has traveled to Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Binghamton, LA, Florida and everywhere else. Along with Francis and Mark, they could be found during any night in 2000-2001 at the Baldwin Coach Diner, Michael’s Side Pocket, or Ryan’s backyard (the Bixby Fun House). Steve & Ryan both have a mutual love for taking advantage of big corporations and seeing punk shows even though they have been the youngest and oldest in the crowd at times.
Steve and Jim/James/Jimmy/Jimothy/Jamesothy/ Uncle Jimmy/Crazy Jimmy became friends through Colin however they became much closer after becoming roommates in 2006. They spent many a Wednesday night dueting to Linkin Park and other songs at the Arena’s karaoke night or the Cell Block’s $1 shot night. Jim was also an integral part in raising Steve’s adopted love-child Dexter (the dog). Steve can’t wait until Jim decides to run for public office so he can release the tons of inappropriate video and pictures he has saved up.
Steve and Francis’ friendship dates back to high school where they took Spanish together for several years. They’ve been through it all whether it was girls, sports, school projects, or shenanigans. Although he is en route to becoming a big shot lawyer, Steve & Francis still have time to talk and catch up with each other’s’ lives on a regular basis.
